Journal love

This is exactly what it looks like...evidence of my obsession with my favorite journal. This stack of 4 unused journals is the result of me driving all over town buying up all of them within about a 30 mile radius. I'm normally not a hoarder, but put the words "discontinued" and "my favorite journal" in the same sentence, and this is the madness that ensues. (I also have two that I started and then abandoned for one reason or another. I plan on gessoing over the used pages and using those up as well!) I fill one of these roughly every two months, so this buys me a little time to figure out what to use next.

Here's my current journal in all of it's messy, painted up glory, with just a few pages left to go:

I have two more "spreads" left, plus the first and last pages. I always do the first page last, and I usually glue in a photo of my messy journaling table on that page and add a title.

And just for fun, here's my last journal, which is the same style but was in black leather. Love how messy and colorful it looks! I ended up calling this one "Making Magic from Mayhem," and it runs from the end of May through the beginning of June.
